The two-level underground parking garage provides ample parking with extensive hours of operation and equipped with a universal dual port and a Tesla electric vehicle charging station. As a result of its meticulous operational management, advanced energy saving efforts and cutting-edge engineering technology it was the winner of the BOMA Innovative Earth Award in 2015. Expansive bay and city views, state-of-the-art energy and comfort controls and life-safety engineering combine to make 345 California Center a landmark business address.

ARCHITECTURE

345 California’s award-winning architectural design was created by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. The steel-frame structure features full seismic engineering. Five types of imported granite cover the building’s exterior and pave the California Street plaza and retail arcade leading to the brass-framed main entry. The arcade features 30-foot vaulted ceilings, framing a convenient walkway from Battery and Sansome Streets to the office lobby. The lobby’s elevator cabs are finished with polished granite, brass, and African paneling. The hexagonal building design allows variety and flexibility in office space planning for the 17,000 square foot typical floor plate.

ACCCESS AND SECURITY CONTROLS

Access is available to tenants 24 hours a day using one of the 12 passenger elevators equipped with Destination Dispatch Elevator Controls. After business hours access is controlled by an electronic card-key security system, which records user identity, time, and elevator bank whenever a card is used. Security video cameras and life safety functions are continuously monitored from the main security console.

PARKING

Parking for 180 cars is provided in a professionally-managed, full-service valet garage. For the convenience of tenants, the garage is open early morning and late evening hours. Free parking is available for bicycles. On site electric vehicle charging stations include a universal, dual port station and a Tesla charging station
